Luda is only featured for acouple seconds, but here is the trailer to Ludas latest movie “Max Payne”
It’s not every day that you hear Ludacris challenge someone like Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy to a rap battle. Celebrity DJ Clinton Sparks is the mastermind behind this unusual encounter.
Fall Out Boy teamed up with Clinton Sparks for their new release Citizens FOB Mixtape: Welcome to the New Administration. This was a change of pace for Clinton, considering his past mixtapes were with artists such as Kanye West, P. Diddy and Eminem. On this project, Sparks combined the rock world with hip-hop by scratching, blending and mixing the songs as if they were rap songs. The mixtape features everything from Ludacris challenging Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) to a rap battle, to a tribute track entitled “We Believe in Obama.”
Citizens FOB Mixtape: Welcome to the New Administration features unreleased tracks from their upcoming album The Return - “Folie a Deux” debuting on November 4, 2008. The mixtape has a guest list that includes Seth Green, Ludacris, Gym Class Heroes, The Academy Is, Panic @ the Disco, Tyga, Cobra Startship, The Cab, Hey Monday, as well as artists from Fall Out Boy’s label Decaydance. MTV and The E! Channel will be airing segments of Clinton Sparks and Pete Wentz in the studio creating the mixtape. Welcome to the New Administration is available for download at http://www.sendspace.com/pro/nv8chy

Ludacris says “Mr. October is my new nickname,” referencing his busy fall schedule that includes the highly anticipated album “Theater of Mind” and two new movies.
Ludacris’ rap and acting personas intersect on “Theater of the Mind.” The album comprises tracks envisioned as short plots from movies. And in Ludacris’ special brand of musical theater, the featured guests — including T-Pain (”One More Drink”), the Game (”Call Up the Homies”) and T.I. (”Wish You Would”) — are billed as co-stars.
In related news, Ludacris has been tapped by AT&T to appear in a fall advertising campaign which is slated to kick off sometime this month.

Upcoming R&B artist Jarvis, the newest addition to the Disturbing Tha Peace record label, will headline the entertainment with a halftime performance at the Atlanta Dream’s “Dream Pink” game on August 29, 2008. Grammy Award winning hip-hop star Ludacris will also be in attendance as Jarvis performs his latest single “Pretty Girls.”
Ludacris won’t just be debuting his label’s newest artist; he is also going to be paying close attention to the action on the court. The Atlanta rapper is a huge fan of Atlanta Dream point guard Ivory Latta, whose career he has followed since her collegiate days at the University of North Carolina.
“I have been a long time fan and supporter of Ivory Latta since she was at North Carolina,” said Ludacris. “She is a little sister and family to me. It is even greater that she plays for an Atlanta team. I want to be there to show my love and support for the Atlanta Dream, Ivory Latta, the city of Atlanta and my artist Jarvis.”
The “Dream Pink” game on August 29 is already close to a sellout with over 9,000 tickets sold. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm against the Connecticut Sun at Philips Arena. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive pink t-shirts and pom poms courtesy of Dekalb Medical and Verizon Wireless. The in-game elements will center around a “pink” theme in support of the breast cancer awareness campaign.
The Dream tipped off their inaugural season at Philips Arena with back-to-back sellouts on May 23 and May 25, 2008. The team was officially announced as the 14th team in the WNBA on October 17, 2007. The Dream are members of the WNBA’s Eastern conference which also includes the Chicago Sky, Connecticut Sun, Detroit Shock, Indiana Fever, New York Liberty and Washington Mystics. For more information and to purchase season tickets, fans can call (404) 604-2626 or visit www.AtlantaDream.net. Fans may obtain single-game tickets by calling (404) 249-6400 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also will be available for purchase at the Philips Arena box office.
Lil Wayne may be the best-selling rapper — make that, recording artist — this year (in terms of first week numbers), but Atlanta rap mogul Ludacris upset him in vibe.com’s Best Rapper Alive tournament.
Now the hip-hop star born Christopher Bridges (top photo) is in the Final Four. And he’s going up against “the greatest rapper alive” (according to Lil Wayne), Jay-Z (below); while Eminem matches lyrical firepower with The Game.
(The Game - believe it or not - defeated Andre “Dre” Benjamin in the previous round).
You can vote HERE through Saturday at 12 a.m. .
After that, tell us why you chose who you chose. Or do you think it’s ridiculous for these four to be in this Final Four in the first place?
(The Top Two will be announced Monday on vibe.com).
Just because Ludacris is working hard on two new movies and is putting the finishing touches on his new album Theater Of The Mind that doesn’t mean the man forgot how to throw a damn good party. Just like how Luda gave all the fans a ‘Preview’ of his new album with the new Gangsta Grillz mixtape he’s giving the SOHH.com readers of preview of his annual Luda Day weekend. Check out all the details below.
